Senior Lead Software Developer Database (Snowflake/Databricks)

Salary: $137,483–$175,017 per year

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex business applications in Snowflake and Databricks environments.
• Build scalable solutions using Python, SQL, databases, data models, APIs, middleware, and integration frameworks.
• Guide architecture decisions, technology standards, development practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in Agile sprints and translate business requirements into technical solutions with business and technical stakeholders.
• Mentor developers and collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure quality through testing, documentation, performance optimization, and 24/7 application support.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in systems engineering and software development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Strong Python and SQL expertise, including SQL-based BI analytics.
• Proven experience with Databricks or Snowflake, cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, data modeling, databases, and analytics solutions.
• Experience with middleware, APIs, integration frameworks, ERP and CRM systems, modern application architectures, and Waterfall or Agile methodologies.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills; ability to travel as required.
