Product Owner - Advisor Experience

Location: New York, United States

Salary: $95,170–$156,355 annually, plus potential incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Research advisor feedback, analyze data, and identify opportunities to improve advisor-facing digital experiences.
• Translate business needs and user stories into requirements, acceptance criteria, and prioritized product backlog items.
• Collaborate with agile development teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Monitor KPIs, recommend data-driven improvements, and drive business process optimization and change management.
• Explore AI-enabled solutions, facilitate training and workshops, and support product adoption.
• Manage product risks, align stakeholders on the roadmap, and mentor less experienced product team members.

Requirements

• Experience working within an Agile methodology.
• Strong analytical, communication, active listening, and stakeholder-influence skills.
• Experience with requirements management, user stories, acceptance criteria, and product backlogs.
• Experience with change management, business process improvement, KPI measurement, and risk management.
• Empathy for users, a customer-centric mindset, and the ability to facilitate training sessions.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
• Exposure to AI concepts and their application in business solutions.
