EARN Career Advisor

Location: Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, United States

Starting hourly rate: $22–$24 per hour

Workforce development organization providing career services, training, and employment solutions through career centers, community sites, and partner organizations.

What you will do

• Build one-on-one relationships with clients, assess needs and employment barriers, and support job placement and retention.
• Provide case management, follow-up, referrals, and individualized support throughout participant engagement.
• Conduct customer intake, enrollment, orientation, job-readiness workshops, and professional development sessions.
• Maintain accurate client records, case notes, attendance data, placement data, and compliance documentation.
• Monitor participant progress and coordinate with schools, employers, account managers, business services, and internal teams.
• Support program operations, grants, reporting, compliance standards, and operational improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in education, social services, healthcare, communications, or a related field, or 2–3 years of equivalent experience.
• At least two years of experience in career advising, workforce development, or workshop facilitation.
• Strong customer service, written and verbal communication, and public-speaking skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, maintain accurate documentation, and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Leadership, adaptability, and the ability to work in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments.
