Senior Client Executive - Northeast Construction Insurance (Construction Insurance)

Location: Hybrid work based in New York or New Jersey, with office locations in Melville, NYC, Summit, Jersey City, or Mt. Laurel.

Salary: $125,000–$150,000 base salary per year, with potential bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

What you will do

• Manage complex property and casualty insurance programs for large construction clients across the Metro New York and broader Northeast region.
• Act as the lead client advisor and relationship manager for sophisticated construction accounts.
• Develop insurance and risk management strategies covering project-specific exposures, contractual risk transfer, and emerging construction risks.
• Partner with Producers and Practice Leaders on new business development, client retention, and account expansion.
• Coordinate Claims, Risk Control, Placement, Analytics, and Client Service resources to deliver integrated solutions.
• Lead renewal meetings, stewardship presentations, carrier discussions, and mentorship for client service colleagues.

Requirements

• 8–15+ years of commercial property and casualty insurance experience, including at least 5 years supporting large construction clients.
• Strong Metro New York construction experience is required, including New York City, Long Island, Northern New Jersey, and surrounding markets.
• Deep knowledge of construction risks, general liability, workers’ compensation, commercial auto, umbrella/excess liability, builders risk, professional liability, contractors pollution liability, OCIPs, and CCIPs.
• Experience reviewing construction contracts, indemnification provisions, insurance specifications, and complex risk transfer arrangements.
• Strong negotiation, insurance placement, client relationship management, analytical, presentation, and project management capabilities.
• Active property and casualty broker license and a valid driver’s license; ability to maintain required licensing and continuing education.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with Sagitta and ImageRight.
• CPCU, CIC, CRM, ARM, or equivalent professional designation.
• Established relationships with contractors, construction managers, project owners, developers, and insurance markets.
