Fraud Risk Management Specialist (Cybersecurity)

Location: Budapest, Szeged, Pécs, or Debrecen, Hungary. Remote work is available only within Hungary due to European taxation regulations.

What you will do

• Conduct fraud risk assessments for new Telekom Deutschland products, rates, and services.
• Review projects and provide advisory support from a fraud risk perspective.
• Coordinate fraud risk evaluation and mitigation with responsible stakeholders.
• Develop internal security requirements for fraud risk assessments.
• Develop and govern security assessments, including test-result evaluation and findings management.

Requirements

• German at C1 level or higher in written and spoken communication.
• English at B2 level or higher.
• At least one year of experience in risk management, policy development, and policy governance.
• At least one year of experience with IT technologies, or a technical university education.
• Knowledge of IT and network technology basics, including cloud, APIs, and IoT.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, confidentiality, ethical conduct, and attention-to-detail skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in fraud risk management and evaluating new products or services.
• Knowledge of Deutsche Telekom products and processes, especially Telekom Deutschland.
• Familiarity with German data protection laws and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of fraud types such as SIM swapping, free-trial abuse, and chargeback fraud.
