Fire Protection Engineer (Engineering)

Location: Onsite at the Burlington, Washington office, USA

Salary: $95,000–$145,000+ annual

What you will do

• Design and analyze automatic suppression, fire detection, alarm, and mass notification systems.
• Perform building and fire code analysis, egress analysis, fire-resistant construction analysis, and smoke control analysis.
• Lead internal teams in producing coordinated, high-quality design sets.
• Manage multiple clients and projects, including project profitability and client relationships.
• Conduct research and prepare technical documentation for internal and external distribution.
• Support business development, develop project budgets, write proposals, and build long-term client relationships.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of experience in fire protection engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients and lead coordinated design work.
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
