Salary: $82,000–$92,000 per year

What you will do

  • Execute month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance follow-up.
  • Perform job cost accounting, project tracking, revenue recognition support, and WIP preparation.
  • Maintain accurate financial records across the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
  • Prepare supporting schedules, reports, analyses, and reconciliations for financial reporting and decision-making.
  • Use ERP systems to process transactions, maintain data quality, and support system updates and process improvements.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and support audit, compliance, and internal control activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • 1–2 years of progressive corporate and operations accounting experience.
  • Foundational knowledge of GAAP and the ability to apply accounting principles in daily work.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and Excel, including formulas, VLOOKUP, reconciliations, and data organization.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet close deadlines.
  • Must work full-time onsite in Chicago, IL.
