Managing Consultant (Customs & International Trade)

What you will do

• Advise global, regional, and local clients on customs and international trade matters, including import/export regulations, export controls, customs valuation, HS classification, FTAs, dispute resolution, disclosures, and AEO assessments.
• Analyze customs and trade data to support risk assessments, duty optimization, compliance reviews, audits, and supply chain security initiatives.
• Research regulations, trade agreements, and government requirements and translate complex issues into practical, compliant solutions.
• Prepare technical advice, reports, presentations, and other client deliverables.
• Manage consulting engagements and operational support projects, coordinating delivery with regional and global teams.
• Support client relationships, business development, internal procedures, knowledge sharing, and regulatory updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; a customs broker’s license or similar professional accreditation is an advantage.
• 4–7 years of relevant experience, ideally including at least 3 years in consulting.
• Advanced knowledge of import/export regulations and practice, with experience or familiarity in Thailand trade compliance.
• Strong analytical, research, problem-solving, project management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Fluent English; proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a client-focused environment.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of trade compliance in the ASEAN region or another ASEAN country.
• A second Asian language.
