What you will do

• Operate a consumer product safety laboratory in line with ISO 17025 requirements and maintain its accreditation.
• Deliver electrical and electronic safety testing projects according to client commitments.
• Liaise with clients regarding laboratory test results and technical justifications.
• Work as a project engineer or reviewer and qualify as an approved technical reviewer.
• Provide technical training to clients and internal training to staff.
• Support management investment decisions and complete assigned projects while following integrity, HSE and professional conduct standards.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge of laboratory quality management systems and ISO 17025.
• Good command of English in written and spoken communication.
• Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and contribute effectively in a team.
• Teamwork and leadership qualities to lead laboratory staff.
• Ability to work onsite in Senai, Johor, Malaysia.

Nice to have

• Experience leading a consumer safety laboratory, which may support consideration for a managerial position.
• Fresh graduates with relevant studies are encouraged to apply.
