Junior Financial Analyst, Treasury

Location: Concord, California, United States; full-time onsite role

Salary: $28.00–$37.00 per hour

What you will do

• Post daily cash transactions and manage cash application, including researching unidentified or unapplied deposits.
• Monitor bank activity, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate resolutions with internal departments, banks, customers, and vendors.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, schedules, and supporting accounting documentation.
• Support treasury operations involving wires, ACH activity, bank account maintenance, positive pay, and online banking platforms.
• Assist with intercompany cash transfers, month-end close activities, audits, and outstanding transaction follow-up.
• Identify process improvements and help develop procedures and workflow enhancements.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• At least two years of accounting experience.
• Understanding of accounting principles, debits and credits, and financial controls.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large volumes of transactional data.
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.

Nice to have

• Four-year degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• Experience with bank and general ledger reconciliations.
• Experience with ERP systems and banking platforms.
• Construction industry experience.
