TL;DR
DevOps Engineer (CI/CD, Kubernetes): Developing and operating intelligent tolling services for the mobility industry with an accent on automation, cloud-native infrastructure, and service reliability. Focus on building CI/CD pipelines, maintaining core gateways, operating production services with 24x7 on-call duty, and combining Java development with infrastructure automation.
Location: Budapest, Debrecen, Pécs, or Szeged, Hungary. Remote work is available only within Hungary due to European taxation regulation.

What you will do
- Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines to automate delivery and increase operational efficiency.
- Maintain core gateways and protect the security and integrity of software assets.
- Operate intelligent tolling services for mobility-industry customers across development and production environments.
- Take full operational responsibility for owned services, including production operations, SLAs, and 24x7 on-call duty.
- Collaborate in an international, cross-functional agile team and evaluate new technologies.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of DevOps or infrastructure engineering experience.
- Strong English proficiency required.
- Experience working in agile teams using Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
- Basic Java development skills combined with operations and automation experience.
- Advanced experience with Kubernetes, GitLab, ArgoCD, and Artifactory.
- Knowledge of cloud-native tools, IaC or GitOps, databases, and service monitoring; interest in AWS and on-premises operations.
Nice to have
- Experience with Ansible, Prometheus/Grafana, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, Helm, Kustomize, Jenkins or GitLab pipelines, and Maven.
- Familiarity with Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- German language knowledge.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
