EMEA Rates Trader (Fixed Income)

What you will do

• Execute portfolio decisions across EMEA rates, global foreign exchange, and money-market instruments.
• Monitor market conditions, central bank activity, economic releases, and positioning to support execution discussions.
• Build relationships with banks, brokers, liquidity providers, and trading venues to support pricing and reliable liquidity access.
• Provide market colour, trade ideas, liquidity assessments, implementation advice, and pre- and post-trade analysis.
• Evaluate electronic, algorithmic, RFQ, and voice execution channels while improving systems, analytics, automation, and controls.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, analysts, trading colleagues, risk, compliance, operations, and technology teams.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of relevant trading experience at an asset manager, hedge fund, investment bank, or treasury function.
• Strong understanding of pricing, liquidity, market microstructure, derivatives, and electronic and voice trading.
• Disciplined approach to execution quality and trading controls.
• Ability to interpret market data and communicate conclusions clearly across the investment team.
• Experience using order and execution management systems.
• Strong communication, relationship management, integrity, discretion, and personal accountability.
