What you will do
- Administer and develop Google Looker, including LookML models, dashboards, user attributes, visualizations, merged queries, and performance tuning.
- Create and maintain SSRS reports and SQL Server objects, including T-SQL, views, CTEs, functions, and stored procedures.
- Build SQL processes and scripts to move and transform data between data marts.
- Analyze data quality and completeness, validate dashboards and data marts against source systems, and implement documented business rules.
- Troubleshoot data and reporting issues, investigate root causes, and document requirements and technical solutions.
- Prepare technical and end-user documentation, train users, and support mentoring, task assignment, code reviews, and prioritization as needed.
Requirements
- Strong SQL Server experience with SQL/T-SQL, views, CTEs, functions, and stored procedures.
- Strong Google Looker experience covering LookML modeling, administration, user attributes, dashboard design, visualization selection, merged queries, and performance tuning.
- Experience creating and maintaining SSRS reports.
- Strong data analysis, business-rule validation, testing, data completeness, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical users.
- Detail-oriented, self-directed, quick to learn new systems, and collaborative.
Nice to have
- Experience assisting with data mart design and data validation frameworks.
- Prior lead or mentoring experience in BI or analytics teams.
