Process Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Nephi, Utah, at the Horizon Foundry Facility; full-time onsite role

What you will do

• Analyze production data and improve safety, quality, efficiency, cost, and process control.
• Optimize foundry processes and coordinate continuous improvement and Facility Excellence initiatives.
• Lead internal and external ISO audits, manage controlled documents, and address quality issues, warranty claims, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate new equipment installations and design or modify equipment and processes for production and maintenance needs.
• Prepare fabrication drawings, vendor bid requests, and capital purchase documentation.
• Coordinate scrap reduction efforts and collaborate with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering groups.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Experience with equipment design, construction methods, and related costs.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM applications and foundry processes.
• Ability to direct cost-control programs, including scrap analysis and process capability.
• Strong communication skills for working with customers and suppliers.
• Must already be authorized to work full-time in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored immigration support.
