Junior Accountant, Revenue and Commissions

Location: Hybrid role in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

Salary: $57,000–$65,000 CAD annually

What you will do

• Record revenue transactions and commission expenses for brokerage operations.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting processes.
• Prepare, review, and analyze broker transactions, payments, and account recharges.
• Perform revenue testing on deal transactions and reconcile revenue and commission accounts.
• Prepare working papers for accruals, allocations, journal entries, and reconciliations across business units.
• Support branch offices with deal tracking systems and day-to-day operational inquiries.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting.
• At least 2 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Currently authorized to work full-time in Canada.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX.
• Eligibility for the pre-approved program under the CPA Practical Experience Requirement.
