What you will do

• Provide engineering services on assigned SRR Engineering Teams using established processes and procedures.
• Perform engineering analysis, field system walkdowns, and design development.
• Produce single-line drawings, electrical equipment lists and specifications, control system designs, and bulk material specifications.
• Develop circuit, raceway, wiring, connection, grounding, heat-tracing, and fire-detection designs.
• Interface with vendors, fabricators, and other engineering organizations during off-site travel when required.

Requirements

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or current registration as a Professional Engineer in Electrical Engineering.
• At least five years of design experience in the nuclear or process chemical industry.
• Knowledge of NEC code requirements and national electrical design standards, including IEC, NFPA, NEMA, IEEE, and OSHA.
• Experience designing 480-volt power distribution systems, including circuit protection, analysis, and coordination.
• Ability to develop single-line, schematic, and wiring diagrams; equipment layouts; raceway designs; and electrical equipment specifications.
• Ability to perform field system walkdowns.

Nice to have

• Experience with 2D MicroStation computer-aided drafting and design.
