Retail Internal Associate

Location: Phoenix; hybrid work environment with remote and onsite work. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Base salary: $60,000 per year, plus competitive commission pay and incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Support internal sales representatives and wholesalers with firm, product, performance, and market data on a regular and ad-hoc basis.
• Schedule and coordinate events, meetings, and other requests with broker-dealer offices and financial advisors.
• Initiate and follow through on problem resolution and information requests.
• After obtaining the required licenses, respond to inbound financial advisor inquiries about MFS products, services, and financial markets.
• Create sales leads across distribution channels by sharing MFS information and identifying additional sales opportunities.
• Provide backup support for internal wholesalers, including thank-you calls, service matters, and external wholesaler tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Strong verbal communication, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Highly adaptable and resourceful, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently while providing simultaneous support to several individuals.
• Must obtain FINRA Series 63 and FINRA Series 7 licenses promptly after hire in accordance with MFS licensing policy.
• Strong understanding of portfolio construction, MFS products, and the ability to explain over- and underperformance related to sector and industry weighting and basic attribution analysis.

Nice to have

• FINRA Series 63 or Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) licensing before joining.
