Software Engineer (BI)

Location: Budapest, Debrecen, Pécs, or Szeged, Hungary. Remote work is available only within Hungary due to European taxation regulations.

What you will do

• Analyze report and dashboard requirements, including input data and output preparation.
• Design information architecture and information design for reporting solutions.
• Develop report and dashboard solutions using SAP BO WebI and Microsoft Power BI.
• Support solution architects with use-case-based data models for reporting.
• Support business and data analysis in customer and internal reporting projects, including ServiceNow data.
• Define dimensions and facts in the semantic layer and perform end-to-end functional and data quality testing.

Requirements

• University degree in informatics or business informatics.
• 3–5 years of experience in BI frontend development.
• Very good knowledge of SAP BO WebI and Microsoft Power BI.
• Good knowledge of relational and dimensional data modeling.
• Very good German and English communication skills.
• Ability to cooperate in an international environment and good ITIL process knowledge.
