Senior DevSecOps Engineer – Identity & Security (Kubernetes)

Location: Budapest, Debrecen, Pécs, or Szeged, Hungary. Remote work is available only within Hungary due to European taxation regulations.

What you will do

• Build and operate Kubernetes platforms with Helm and Gardener on Open Telekom Cloud.
• Manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Terragrunt.
• Implement GitOps delivery with ArgoCD and automate CI/CD pipelines.
• Operate PostgreSQL with CloudNativePG and Apache Kafka with Strimzi on Kubernetes.
• Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and manage secrets and supply-chain security.
• Harden ingress and service-to-service communication, including mTLS, while collaborating with backend, security, QA, and architecture teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of operating Kubernetes in production.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, Terragrunt, and ArgoCD.
• Experience with CI/CD, Docker, Linux, GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Scripting experience with Bash or Python.
• Experience with secrets management and supply-chain security.
• Fluent English required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Gardener, CloudNativePG, Strimzi Kafka, Open Telekom Cloud, or T-Cloud Sovereign.
• Knowledge of Istio, Cosign, KICS, or kubeconform.
• Experience with healthcare digital identity or regulated environments.
• German language skills.
