DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes)

Location: Hybrid, with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home or another suitable location; offices in Kaunas or Vilnius, Lithuania

Salary: €4,700–€7,500 gross per month, depending on experience

What you will do

• Design, operate, and continuously improve secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, OpenTofu, or similar tools.
• Design and improve CI/CD pipelines and reusable workflows for testing, security validation, deployment, and releases.
• Manage Docker and Kubernetes environments, including deployment, scaling, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Implement DevSecOps, software supply chain security, least-privilege access, and infrastructure governance.
• Monitor system health, performance, availability, capacity, and costs while maintaining documentation and runbooks.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably Azure and/or AWS.
• Practical experience with Terraform, OpenTofu, or another Infrastructure as Code tool.
• Production or production-like experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Strong Linux knowledge and scripting skills in Bash, Python, PowerShell, or a comparable language.
• Understanding of cloud networking, DNS, IAM, secrets management, infrastructure security, monitoring, logging, and distributed-system troubleshooting.

Nice to have

• Experience with DevSecOps, secret scanning, software composition analysis, container scanning, or SBOM generation.
• Experience with Policy-as-Code, cloud governance, or IAM automation.
• Familiarity with Grafana, Prometheus, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, CloudWatch, Renovate, Trivy, or similar tools.
• Experience building API, SQL/PostgreSQL, or infrastructure and compliance reporting integrations.
