Technical Product & Application Expert (Nutraceuticals)

Location: Flexible within APAC; Singapore, Malaysia, and China preferred. Requires 30%–50% travel across APAC and China.

What you will do

• Provide technical guidance to commercial teams and strategic customers on product formulations and application development.
• Support formulation development, stability testing, customer complaint investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate technical relationships with contract manufacturing and development organizations and translate specifications into manufacturing guidelines.
• Deliver technical training and troubleshooting support at manufacturing partner and customer sites.
• Manage product development projects from concept through commercial-scale production in collaboration with global R&D teams.
• Develop a regional network and database of qualified manufacturing and analytical partners while coordinating technical documentation and technology transfers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of technical experience in the nutraceutical, dietary supplement, or pharmaceutical industry.
• Advanced degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Technology, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field; MS or PhD preferred.
• Proven formulation development experience across tablets, capsules, gummies, and liquid delivery formats.
• Experience managing technical relationships with contract manufacturers and analytical laboratories and scaling formulations from laboratory to commercial production.
• Deep knowledge of ingredient functionality, formulation science, manufacturing processes, GMP requirements, quality systems, analytical testing, and APAC regulatory requirements.
• High-level fluency in spoken English and Mandarin is required.
