General Service Technician / Apprentice | Weekends Off | Robinhood (Automotive)

Location: Onsite at 5262 Fleetwood Circle, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, United States

Compensation: Up to $25 per hour for the most skilled technicians.

What you will do

• Perform maintenance and repair services, including oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, and suspension alignments.
• Complete state-mandated vehicle emissions and safety inspections in accordance with regulations.
• Troubleshoot customer vehicle concerns and communicate damage or malfunctions to the service department.
• Conduct accurate and honest digital vehicle inspections and complete preventive maintenance reports.
• Follow safety, cleanliness, organization, hazardous waste disposal, OSHA, and other applicable regulations.
• Support housekeeping and other shop functions as directed by management.

Requirements

• Current driver's license in good standing.
• Own tools suitable for the required vehicle repairs.
• Comfort working with computers and tablets.
• Ability to lift or move more than 50 pounds occasionally, work beneath raised vehicles and in tight spaces, and use hand tools with dexterity.
• Ability to stand or walk for most of the workday, drive manual-transmission vehicles, and maintain a brisk pace in a high-volume environment.
• State Vehicle Inspection Certification is preferred.
