Instrument & Controls Engineer - Cyber Coordination

Location: Site-based in Duba, Tabuk Region, Saudi Arabia, on an 8 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation

What you will do

• Support the safe, compliant, and reliable implementation of PAS, BPCS, PLC, DCS, and vendor-supplied control systems.
• Participate in site cybersecurity task force activities, including field verification of cyber assets against project specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate cybersecurity validation and testing with vendors, subcontractors, OEMs, commissioning teams, and client operations.
• Support construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, handover, FAT, SAT, loop checks, and functional testing.
• Review vendor documentation, test procedures, compliance evidence, and Proof of Compliance documentation.
• Assist with troubleshooting instrumentation, control systems, networks, and interfaces while ensuring cybersecurity controls do not affect schedule-critical activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Control Systems, Electrical, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 15 years of experience with instrumentation and control systems on industrial projects such as energy, chemicals, oil and gas, or industrial gases.
• Hands-on experience with PAS, BPCS, PLCs, DCS, and vendor-supplied control systems.
• Experience supporting site-based construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, or handover activities.
• Experience supporting industrial control system cybersecurity activities on capital projects.
• Strong communication skills, multicultural project experience, and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.

Nice to have

• OT/ICS cybersecurity accreditations such as ISA/IEC 62443, SANS, or other internationally recognized certifications.
