Security Risk Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Budapest, Szeged, Debrecen, or Pécs, Hungary. Remote work is available only within Hungary due to European taxation regulations.

What you will do

• Operate and continuously improve the security risk management process, methodologies, policies, and governance framework.
• Ensure alignment with group-level security standards and integrate risk management into business and IT processes.
• Advise, train, and support local risk managers with risk identification, assessment, treatment, and GRC platform usage.
• Manage security risks, mitigation actions, documentation, follow-up, and audit readiness with relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare Top 10 risk reports, quarterly summaries, ad-hoc reports, and risk KPI analysis for management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Informatics, or a related field.
• High-level English proficiency in spoken and written communication.
• At least mid-level German proficiency.
• 3–7+ years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, risk management, or GRC roles.
• Experience in large enterprise or multinational environments.
• Knowledge of security risk frameworks and standards, including ISO 27005, NIST RMF, ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS.

Nice to have

• Experience in training, coaching, enablement, shared services, or internal consulting.
• CRISC, CISM, CISSP, COBIT, ITIL, or similar governance certifications.
• Hands-on experience with GRC tools such as ServiceNow, Archer, OneTrust, or similar platforms.
