Automotive General Service Technician / Mechanic (with Goal of Growing to a Master Technician)

Salary: $16–$20 per hour; the most skilled technicians may earn $18–$20 per hour.

What you will do

• Complete maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, and wheel alignments.
• Perform digital vehicle inspections and document findings with photos, measurements, and service recommendations.
• Use factory scan tools, Hunter laser alignment equipment, and vehicle service tools across a wide range of makes and models.
• Follow management instructions, OSHA requirements, and local shop-safety rules for hazardous materials and fuel spills.
• Maintain a professional, honest, respectful attitude while supporting the team and completing housekeeping duties.

Requirements

• Entry-level automotive service experience; one to three years is preferred.
• Current driver's license and ability to drive manual-transmission vehicles.
• Basic tool box or roll cart with tools for oil changes and tire rotations.
• Ability to lift or move more than 50 pounds occasionally, stand or walk most of the day, and work in tight spaces or under raised vehicles.
• Manual dexterity with hand tools, ability to work at a brisk pace in a high-volume environment, and basic computer skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
