Location: East Syracuse, NY, USA
Salary: USD 90,000–130,000 per year, plus a profit-sharing bonus target of 10% and 401(k) matching up to 8%.

What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain iOS and Android applications using Swift, SwiftUI, Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and selected cross-platform frameworks.
- Develop offline-first mobile experiences optimized for field technicians working in challenging environments and across a wide range of devices.
- Build phone-to-tool communication over Bluetooth Low Energy, Wi-Fi Direct, and NFC, including reconnection, compatibility, and OTA firmware update flows.
- Stream and log live HVAC/R sensor data, including pressure, temperature, refrigerant, vacuum, combustion, and leak-rate measurements.
- Integrate with refrigerant tracking, EPA Section 608, field service management, reporting, email, and e-signature workflows.
- Collaborate with firmware, product, UX, and cloud/backend engineers on architecture, delivery, field visits, code reviews, and hiring.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of professional mobile application development experience with shipped iOS and/or Android applications.
- Experience with Swift, Kotlin, Flutter, React Native, or similar mobile technologies.
- Experience integrating mobile applications with connected devices, sensors, or hardware products, including Bluetooth Low Energy or similar wireless technologies.
- Experience with APIs, local data storage, real-time or streaming data, testing, source control, and CI/CD.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI/ML, LLM integrations, or intelligent application features.
- Experience supporting HVAC, industrial, field service, or technician-focused applications.
- Experience generating mobile reports, workflows, or customer-facing documentation.
