iOS Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote from Indonesia; address in Jakarta, Jakarta.

What you will do

• Build and maintain production iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Integrate AI-powered features through backend APIs and collaborate with backend and ML engineers on API design and system behavior.
• Design AI interaction patterns including loading states, streaming responses, retries, and fallbacks.
• Optimize application performance, memory usage, CPU utilization, battery efficiency, and latency.
• Capture user signals and feedback to support AI evaluation and product iteration.
• Maintain App Store quality, stability, monitoring, and production reliability.

Requirements

• 3+ years of iOS development experience with Swift.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI-powered features into mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of async/await, concurrency, and background tasks.
• Experience with iOS performance and memory optimization and with shipping production applications.
• Ability to design for latency, partial failure, and non-deterministic AI behavior.
• Familiarity with feature flags or remote configuration systems and strong intuition for AI UX and user trust.

Nice to have

• Exposure to CoreML or light on-device machine learning.
• Experience with TensorFlow Lite and on-device inference.
• Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases and Swift Package Manager.
