Hyundai Journeyman Technician (Union)

Location: Lincolnwood, Illinois, United States

Pay: $45.15 per flat rate hour, based on experience and certifications.

Berman Hyundai operates an automotive service team supporting Hyundai vehicle maintenance and repair.

What you will do

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, warranty repairs, and customer-pay repairs on Hyundai vehicles according to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and drivability concerns using Hyundai diagnostic equipment, service information, and special tools.
• Document repair orders accurately and complete work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with service advisors, parts personnel, and fellow technicians.
• Stay current with Hyundai training and technical service bulletins.

Requirements

• ASE certification.
• Valid driver's license and a clean three-year driving record.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical duties of an automotive technician.
• Ability to work onsite in Lincolnwood, Illinois.
