Bakery Technical Advisor

What you will do

• Provide technical support aligned with the UK and Ireland commercial strategy through bakery process advice.
• Support customer new product development and existing product development projects.
• Develop tailor-made products and conduct baking tests, including work with industrial baking lines.
• Participate in trade fairs and customer events.
• Deliver and support technical training for colleagues, partners, and customers on bakery processes, yeasts, sourdough, ingredients, and mixes.
• Monitor market trends, customer activity, competition, and product developments.

Requirements

• University degree in food technology or a background in the baking industry.
• Extensive proven baking experience and/or experience working with industrial lines.
• Proven knowledge of the bakery sector, products, raw materials, and processes.
• Customer-oriented approach, strong commitment, and confident communication skills.
• Ability to organise, prioritise, take initiative, respond effectively, manage issues, and collaborate across departments.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, willingness to travel, and advanced MS Office skills.
