Title IV Financial Aid Refund Processor

Location: Tempe, AZ, USA; campus-based position

Salary: USD 23–27 per hour

What you will do

• Process institutional refund calculations for withdrawn students.
• Complete Return to Title IV (R2T4) calculations.
• Update enrollment data in the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS).
• Process student stipends for Title IV credit balances.
• Process stale-dated checks and maintain accurate data in Anthology and related student information systems.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a business office, banking, or accounting environment.
• Bachelor’s degree coursework in business, finance, auditing, or accounting is preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and simple formulas.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and meet urgent deadlines.

Nice to have

• Previous experience as a Financial Aid Assistant or Financial Aid Specialist at a higher education institution.
