Lead Instructor: Data Center Technician (Data Center Technician 8)

What you will do

• Prepare and lead live virtual classroom sessions for diverse groups of data center technician learners.
• Deliver large synchronous online lectures for cohorts ranging from 100 to 8,000+ learners.
• Manage class-time Q&A, monitor chat flow, and maintain learner engagement and class energy.
• Collaborate with operations personnel to ensure smooth program delivery and schedule adherence.
• Assist with lesson design, curriculum updates, and course improvement.
• Participate in weekday or weekend classes as program schedules vary.

Requirements

• Excellent teaching ability and strong communication skills.
• Experience working in physical data centers or similar environments.
• Experience mentoring or supervising learners if prior teaching experience is not available.
• Empathy, flexibility, patience, and the ability to support diverse learners who are new to the subject.
• Ability to prepare thoroughly and make complex technical topics accessible during virtual instruction.
• Availability for lectures on Wednesdays and Fridays from 19:00 to 21:30 AEST.
