AI Marketing Generalist

Location: Remote, based in or around Addis Ababa, Ethiopia; US-friendly hours as needed.

Compensation: $1,000–$1,500 USD per month, commensurate with experience.

What you will do

• Generate ad creatives, graphics, short-form videos, and copy using AI tools such as Midjourney, DALL-E, Canva AI, Runway, ChatGPT, and Claude.
• Build and launch conversion-focused websites and landing pages with AI-assisted no-code and low-code builders, including Webflow, Framer, Wix, and WordPress.
• Plan and manage social media content for LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram, using AI for ideation, drafting, and scheduling.
• Set up and manage Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns, audiences, creative tests, and basic analytics.
• Build cold email and outbound campaigns covering list setup, sequencing, copywriting, and deliverability basics.
• Own go-to-market execution across brand assets, messaging, funnels, and demand-capture systems.

Requirements

• Typically 4+ years of experience as a generalist marketer across creative, web, paid, social, and outbound marketing.
• Daily hands-on proficiency with AI tools and a demonstrable workflow for building or shipping AI-assisted work.
• Ability to turn ambiguous goals into live marketing assets with limited supervision.
• Design literacy and strong visual judgment.
• Strong written English and comfort communicating asynchronously with a US-based team.
• Based in or around Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and able to work US-friendly hours as needed.

Nice to have

• Experience marketing B2B services, agencies, staffing, or outsourcing businesses.
• Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, and basic analytics.
• Familiarity with Close, HubSpot, or marketing automation tools.
• Portfolio examples of AI-generated creative, websites, or campaigns.
