Senior Manager, Risk & Trading (Sports Gaming)

What you will do

• Develop and implement risk management frameworks for sports gaming operations, monitoring exposure and mitigating financial losses.
• Oversee daily trading activities, including pricing, market-making, trading limits, and operational execution in volatile markets.
• Build and use analytics and modeling techniques to evaluate market trends, customer behavior, risk patterns, and portfolio performance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop risk analysts and traders while driving continuous improvement.
• Partner with marketing, product, and technology stakeholders and communicate recommendations to senior management.
• Monitor sports gaming industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activity.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of risk management experience in sports betting, fantasy sports, or a related trading environment.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to make decisions quickly.
• Deep understanding of sports betting markets, betting lines, odds, and pricing models.
• Familiarity with sports data feeds, analytics tools, and statistical models.
• Experience with exposure limits, hedging, diversification, and other risk management techniques.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and mentoring skills; flexibility to work outside regular business hours when required.
