Head of Product Design (AI)

hirify.global is developing an AI-powered procurement platform for the industrial sector, helping large industrial customers make high-stakes cost decisions.

What you will do

• Define interaction models for collaboration between human buyers and AI agents.
• Develop mental models, UI patterns, and frameworks for complex procurement decisions, including should-costing, raw material indices, and contract leakage.
• Own and evolve the design system and component architecture for agent-driven development and rapid iteration.
• Build, hire, and lead a team of approximately four product designers.
• Establish UX research practices covering study planning, participant recruitment, synthesis, and product strategy recommendations.
• Drive shared understanding of user problems across product, engineering, and the wider business.

Requirements

• 6+ years of product design experience, including at least 2 years leading a design team at a high-growth technology company.
• Experience hiring, building, and running processes for a team of approximately four product designers.
• Hands-on experience establishing and leading an end-to-end UX research program.
• Deep experience designing data-heavy, workflow-driven enterprise or B2B products.
• Strong systems thinking, with experience designing frameworks and patterns rather than only individual screens.
• Fluent English required; German is a plus but not required.

Nice to have

• Experience with procurement, supply chain, or adjacent complex domains.
• Fluency with AI as a design material, including LLMs, agents, and automation.
