SRE Technical Lead

Location: Hybrid, with 50% on-site attendance in Albany or Manhattan, New York; on-site during the first week.

What you will do

• Ensure the operational excellence, reliability, and scalability of critical production systems.
• Apply SRE principles to enterprise-level cloud and microservices environments.
• Drive automation and build internal tools that reduce manual toil and support self-healing systems.
• Optimize system performance and lead incident response from a technical standpoint.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and tracing systems.
• Analyze system metrics to identify issues and support performance tuning and capacity planning.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of IT experience, including significant senior-level SRE or similar experience.
• Deep hands-on expertise in SRE, systems reliability, and scalability for enterprise systems.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, microservices, and Kubernetes-based containers.
• Ability to write and implement automation code, including Python, and maintain internal infrastructure tools.
• Expertise with monitoring, alerting, logging, and tracing tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, or ELK Stack.
• Applicants must be U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders, or candidates eligible for H-1B transfer; new H-1B visa petitions cannot be sponsored.
