Maintenance Supervisor, Assembly - Days (EV & Energy Storage)

What you will do

• Lead, supervise, and develop maintenance employees across manufacturing areas and shifts.
• Coordinate schedules, workflow, preventive maintenance, material flow, and maintenance support requirements.
• Drive quality, schedule, cost, safety, staffing, and operational excellence initiatives on the manufacturing floor.
• Manage training, certifications, performance reviews, career development plans, overtime scheduling, and team accountability.
• Lead improvement projects involving Lean Six Sigma, mistake-proofing, 6S, visual management, schedule linearity, cycle-time reduction, and inventory reduction.
• Collaborate with other shift supervisors, production teams, management, and support functions to resolve manufacturing issues and bottlenecks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field.
• At least five years of progressive manufacturing or operations experience with direct people management in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Experience with preventive maintenance, blueprint reading, CAD, and measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and 6S principles, with a strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, prioritization, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, cross-discipline environment.
• Working-level English is required, and candidates must have valid authorization to work in the United States without restriction.

Nice to have

• Experience with inventory management systems, manufacturing execution systems, assembly automation, statistical process control, ISO 9000, or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Lean Six Sigma and Just-In-Time manufacturing experience.
• Experience leading organizational change and transforming workflows into mature, efficient, lean operations.
