SAP Compliance Engineer

Location: 100% remote within the United States

What you will do

• Design, implement, and operate security and access-control frameworks for SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, Fiori, BTP, and SuccessFactors landscapes.
• Design SAP roles and manage user provisioning and authorization concepts.
• Perform segregation-of-duties analysis and operate SAP GRC Access Control components, including ARA, ARM, BRM, and EAM.
• Support SAP audits, remediation activities, and compliance operations.
• Secure Fiori, BTP, and other cloud SAP applications.
• Partner with audit, compliance, and business teams to maintain a secure and auditable SAP environment.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States; U.S. Citizens, Green Card Holders, EAD Holders, and H-1B transfer candidates are encouraged to apply.
• At least 5 years of SAP Security/GRC experience in enterprise landscapes; the position listing also specifies 6+ years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong SAP authorization and role-design experience, including SAP GRC Access Control and Process Control.
• Experience supporting SAP audits, remediation, Fiori, BTP, SAP IDM or third-party IGA tooling.
• Understanding of SOX, GxP, and PCI regulatory frameworks, with strong communication and documentation skills.

Nice to have

• SAP Security or GRC certification.
• Experience with SAP Cloud Identity Services, IAS, IPS, and SCIM integrations.
• Knowledge of HANA security, analytic privileges, continuous controls monitoring, or SAP RISE/Grow security operating models.
