Legal Counsel (Legaltech)

Location: On-site in San Francisco, CA

Salary: $150,000 – $210,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Review and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts including MSAs, NDAs, SOWs, and DPAs.
• Advise clients on product and privacy-related legal matters.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to improve internal AI-assisted legal tooling.
• Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement standardized contract playbooks.
• Maintain high quality standards and meet strict service level agreements.

Requirements

• J.D. and active California bar membership in good standing.
• 5–8 years of law practice with experience supporting technology companies.
• Previous experience as in-house or sole legal counsel.
• Strong expertise in corporate, commercial, product, and privacy law.
• Must be able to work on-site in San Francisco, CA.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.
