Application Developer (.NET/Angular)

Location: Primarily remote within the United States, with onsite meetings required 2–3 times per year in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

hirify.global provides application development support for a multiyear modernization program at the Teachers Retirement System of Oklahoma.

What you will do

• Develop, enhance, and maintain components for a modern Azure-hosted pension administration system.
• Build C#/.NET applications, Web APIs, Angular interfaces, system integrations, and automation workflows.
• Perform coding, unit testing, documentation, code reviews, and pull request submissions.
• Translate technical specifications and business requirements into maintainable, production-ready software.
• Collaborate with technical staff, analysts, testers, and project managers while managing multiple development tasks and timelines.
• Support the replacement of legacy systems, including the retirement of the ALICE platform and integration with MyTRS and MyERS.

Requirements

• Computer Science or MIS degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• C#/.NET, Web API, Angular 16+, SQL, Azure DevOps, and Git experience.
• Knowledge of modern application development frameworks, secure coding practices, and Agile SDLC methodologies.
• Understanding of business process analysis, functional design, documentation standards, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlogs.
• Familiarity with legacy systems architecture, dependencies, technologies, and integration points.
• Ability to deliver high-quality software, communicate complex concepts clearly, and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
