Maintenance Supervisor, Formation - Days (EV Battery Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Sparks, Nevada, United States. Shift: A or C. Valid authorization to work in the U.S. without restriction is required.

What you will do

• Lead, supervise, and develop multidisciplinary maintenance employees across multiple shifts or manufacturing areas.
• Coordinate schedules, workflow, repairs, preventive maintenance, material flow, and maintenance support requirements.
• Manage staffing, overtime, performance reviews, career development plans, training, certifications, and accountability.
• Monitor safety, ergonomics, 6S, visual management, quality, cost, delivery, and manufacturing standards.
• Lead team meetings, tier meetings, cross-shift collaboration, and communication of manufacturing issues.
• Drive continuous improvement projects focused on Lean Six Sigma, FTQ, schedule linearity, cycle time, inventory, cost, and employee engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, business, or a related field.
• At least five years of progressive manufacturing or operations experience with direct people management in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Experience with preventive maintenance, blueprint reading, CAD, and measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Strong commitment to safety, continuous improvement, communication, prioritization, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma and 6S principles, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Working-level English reading, writing, and speaking skills and unrestricted U.S. work authorization are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with inventory management systems, manufacturing execution systems, regulated environments, ISO 9000, assembly automation, statistical process control, or Just-In-Time manufacturing.
• Experience leading organizational change and transforming workflows into mature, efficient, lean operations.
