C# / .NET Developer (Shopify)

Location: Remote anywhere in the United States

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain middleware applications using C# and .NET.
• Build and maintain integrations between Shopify and external systems using APIs and GraphQL.
• Enhance and support middleware services running in production.
• Support and potentially transition ownership of a PaaS-based mobile app backend.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot complex backend and integration issues, participate in code reviews, and follow engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 4–5 years of hands-on C# and .NET development experience.
• Strong experience building APIs, services, and middleware architectures.
• Experience with third-party systems and API integrations.
• Solid experience using GraphQL; Shopify API experience is preferred.
• Experience in cloud-based or PaaS environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills in an agile environment.
