Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Location: Hybrid, 50% onsite in Albany, NY or Manhattan, NY; onsite presence in Albany, NY is required during the first week.

What you will do

• Apply SRE and production engineering principles to improve the reliability, scalability, and performance of enterprise systems.
• Build automation and self-healing solutions that reduce operational toil.
• Design and operate cloud-based infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Manage Kubernetes, containerized workloads, and microservices.
• Implement observability through monitoring, logging, alerting, and distributed tracing.
• Lead incident management, root cause analysis, performance tuning, and capacity planning.

Requirements

• 8+ years of IT experience with strong senior-level SRE or production engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with SRE principles, enterprise systems reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP; Kubernetes, containers, and microservices.
• Strong programming and automation experience, particularly with Python.
• Experience with Dynatrace, Splunk, ELK/Elastic Stack, or similar tools.
