Senior Software Engineer, Site Reliability (AI)

What you will do

• Design, engineer, and build AI-powered SRE platform systems used by engineering teams in their critical paths.
• Participate in livesite monitoring rotations, handle escalations, and drive mitigations and detailed postmortems.
• Improve availability, scalability, performance, reliability, and quality based on production learnings.
• Build integrations and onboard engineering teams by removing adoption friction and measuring outcomes.
• Plan and estimate work, manage scheduling and staffing, and influence engineering process improvements.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience architecting and engineering large-scale distributed commercial applications and services.
• Experience building complex internal platforms adopted by multiple teams in a large company.
• Production experience with complex AI-powered applications.
• Proficiency in one or more object-oriented languages, such as C#, C++, Go, or Python.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, multithreading, synchronization, asynchronous patterns, cloud programming, microservices, HTTP applications, and web services.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP and managed cloud services, plus database backends such as Azure SQL, CosmosDB, MongoDB, MySQL, or DynamoDB.

Nice to have

• Experience working with or managing production Kubernetes infrastructure.
