Salary: $117,000 – $209,330

What you will do

• Own the reliability, availability, and capacity of production services within hirify.global GovCloud environments.
• Develop automation and tooling to improve deployment safety, incident response, and service recovery.
• Define and operate reliability practices, including SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, and production readiness reviews.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability capabilities across supported services.
• Lead incident response, troubleshooting, and post-incident reviews to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure services remain compliant with security and regulatory requirements, specifically FedRAMP.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is strictly required for GovCloud security compliance.
• 7+ years of experience in SRE, Software Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure.
• Experience operating customer-facing production services in large-scale cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or similar).
• Proficiency in automation languages such as Python, Go, Java, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and modern cloud operations.
• B.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS GovCloud, FedRAMP, or IL4/IL5 regulated environments.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, containers, and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with observability platforms like Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog, or CloudWatch.
• Experience leading disaster recovery exercises and Gamedays.
