Senior SAP CPI Developer

Location: 100% remote within the United States

What you will do

• Design and develop end-to-end integration scenarios in SAP Integration Suite/CPI, including synchronous and asynchronous flows, mappings, and orchestration logic.
• Build and maintain iFlows using content modifiers, splitters, routers, exception subprocesses, and adapter-specific configurations.
• Develop Groovy and Java scripts for transformation, validation, and routing requirements.
• Configure SAP and third-party adapters, including HTTP, SOAP, IDoc, OData, JMS, AS2, SFTP, REST, Salesforce, and Ariba.
• Implement secure communication, API Management policies, error handling, retries, alerting, and observability.
• Migrate legacy SAP PI/PO interfaces to SAP Integration Suite and provide performance tuning, documentation, knowledge transfer, and post-go-live support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 5 years of SAP integration experience, including 3 or more years with SAP Integration Suite/CPI; the position lists 10+ years of overall experience.
• Hands-on experience with iFlow development, Groovy/Java scripting, CPI adapters, integration patterns, and middleware concepts.
• Experience with SAP API Management, event-driven architectures, SAP PI/PO, and integration scenarios involving S/4HANA, ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, or Concur.
• Knowledge of OAuth2, SAML, certificate-based authentication, troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management.
• Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States as U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders, or H-1B transfer candidates.

Nice to have

• Prior experience migrating SAP PI/PO interfaces to CPI.
