CIB Credit Trading / Structured Credit Trading (VP)

Location: Hybrid role based in Madrid, Spain, or London, United Kingdom

Global corporate and investment banking division supporting complex corporate and institutional clients with customized wholesale products and services.

What you will do

• Price, execute, and hedge structured credit and hybrid transactions, including repacks and credit linked notes.
• Dynamically manage trading-position risk.
• Maintain, improve, and create trading monitoring tools.
• Train junior members of the trading team.
• Contribute to new product development with Quants, Structurers, and Support/Control functions.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in Credit, Hybrids, Structured Rates, or XVA trading, structuring, or quantitative roles.
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Economics, or Statistics.
• Working proficiency in English is required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced trading environment.
• Team-oriented, entrepreneurial, and delivery-focused mindset.

Nice to have

• Spanish or another European language.
• Familiarity with AI-augmented coding tools.
