Accounting Intern (GL) (Accounting): Performing accounting transactions and monthly account reconciliations for countries supported by the shared services organization with an accent on accurate period entries, month-end closing, GAAP, and SOX controls. Focus on processing accruals, receivables, bank, prepaid, and payroll transactions while ensuring compliance with company policies and reporting requirements.
Location: Onsite in Teparuk, Thailand. Travel: None.
Company
operates a Teparuk site producing nano-recording heads for hard disk drives.
What you will do
- Process accounting transactions for expenses accruals, receivables, bank accounts, prepaid expenses, and payroll across countries supported by the shared services organization.
- Ensure accounting entries are accurate and recorded in the correct period.
- Support month-end closing and required reporting.
- Apply company policies, procedures, GAAP, and SOX controls to financial transactions.
- Perform monthly account reconciliations.
Requirements
- Knowledge of accounting functions.
- Good command of English.
- Computer skills with Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
- Ability to work under pressure, collaborate effectively, and learn quickly.
