PeopleSoft PeopleTools Developer (PeopleSoft): Managing and operating enterprise PeopleSoft environments with an accent on PeopleTools upgrades, security configuration, search services, and cloud and middleware integration. Focus on designing reliable HA/DR environments, troubleshooting Oracle and Linux-based systems, and automating platform operations with modern DevOps practices.
Location: 100% remote within the United States
Salary: $90,000–$120,000 annually

What you will do
- Architect, install, configure, upgrade, and operate enterprise PeopleSoft environments.
- Manage PeopleTools upgrades, PeopleSoft Update Manager, image applications, and security configurations.
- Operate PeopleSoft application servers, process schedulers, search services, and middleware integrations.
- Administer Elasticsearch or OpenSearch environments supporting PeopleSoft.
- Maintain high-availability and disaster-recovery environments and troubleshoot production issues.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders; contribute to code and design reviews and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least five years of PeopleSoft PeopleTools administration experience; the position lists eight or more years of overall experience.
- Hands-on experience with PeopleTools upgrades and PeopleSoft Update Manager.
- Strong experience with WebLogic, Tuxedo, PeopleSoft application servers, and process schedulers.
- Experience with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch, Oracle Database administration, Linux/Unix, and shell scripting.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen, Green Card holder, EAD holder, or H-1B transfer candidate; new H-1B visa petitions cannot be sponsored.
Nice to have
- PeopleSoft certifications.
- Experience running PeopleSoft on OCI, AWS, or Azure.
- Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform or Ansible.
- Familiarity with CI/CD patterns and PeopleSoft Selective Adoption.
