Senior Direct Response Copywriter (Health & Wellness)

Location: Remote from the United Kingdom, Ireland, Argentina, Spain, Poland, or Brazil; consistent overlap with the collaboration window of 8:00am–12:00pm EST.

A fast-growing operator of direct-to-consumer health and wellness brands serving customers with chronic pain and mobility products through ecommerce and membership offers.

What you will do

• Own post-click messaging and conversion strategy across advertorials, listicles, quizzes, sales pages, checkouts, upsells, downsells, and related funnel experiences.
• Research customers and competitors using reviews, surveys, support tickets, interviews, call transcripts, refund reasons, and community discussions.
• Form clear hypotheses, identify funnel constraints, define success metrics and guardrails, and design conversion tests.
• Write and optimize complete long-form and short-form funnels, offer positioning, mechanisms, hooks, leads, guarantees, pricing, bundles, and calls to action.
• Review live performance across funnel stages, traffic sources, devices, heatmaps, and behavioral data, then document learnings and recommend next actions.
• Build searchable test archives, reusable frameworks, AI-assisted research and writing systems, and eventually train and manage additional writers.

Requirements

• Several years of professional direct response copywriting experience with real offers and meaningful traffic.
• A portfolio covering long-form and short-form funnel copy, cold traffic, complete funnels, advertorials, listicles, sales pages, quizzes, checkouts, and post-purchase upsells.
• Experience in health, wellness, supplements, or another claims-sensitive category, with the ability to build belief while working within compliance limits.
• Strong customer research, funnel strategy, offer development, analytical, and conversion testing skills, including familiarity with AOV, revenue per visitor, upsell take rates, gross margin, and contribution margin.
• Demonstrated use of AI in real research, writing, or analysis workflows, while maintaining strategic depth and copy quality.
• Ability to overlap consistently from 8:00am to 12:00pm EST and collaborate with founders, media buyers, designers, and analysts.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-volume Meta, native, Google, or affiliate traffic.
• Experience with subscription offers, multi-brand portfolios, CRO or direct response agencies, post-purchase upsell funnels, or copy systems and training programs.
