Senior Medical Writer, Scientific Intelligence

Location: United States; travel within the US and internationally as needed, with less than 20% travel expected.

Salary: $90,000–$115,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop publications, including abstracts, presentations, and manuscripts, as well as advisory board materials, scientific platforms, gap analyses, literature summaries, slide sets, and training materials.
• Create grammatically accurate, audience-appropriate, scientifically rigorous content aligned with client strategy and product positioning.
• Use AI-enabled writing and research tools to improve deliverable quality and turnaround times.
• Assess project challenges, implement solutions, maintain compliance standards, and support client satisfaction.
• Manage multiple projects, collaborate with Scientific Communications, Client Services, Editorial, and Creative teams, and meet deadlines.
• Help refine hirify.global’s LLM by applying and sharing scientific and therapeutic-area expertise.

Requirements

• PhD in life sciences, MD, or PharmD.
• At least 2 years of experience in an agency, pharmaceutical company, or related scientific or medical writing role.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, organizational, quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to synthesize complex information, manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and collaborate effectively.
• Proficiency with AI-enabled writing and research tools and comfort working in fully AI-integrated workflows.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe, Google or similar calendar systems, EndNote familiarity, and Zoom or similar systems.

Nice to have

• Experience in hematologic or solid tumor oncology.
• At least 1 year of experience as an oncology medical writer.
